stereotype - chris

First of all, i want to define what a stereotype is. stereotype is a standard which people have for other people, or things. For example, a stereotype of an asian maybe small eyes, and yellow. Another way to think of stereotype is the thing that immediately pops up when you think of someone or something.

So what is my stereotype that everybody thinks of. To be honest, I don't really know, but i have some ideas about what they might think of me. First, of all, since i'm sort of a loud, annoying standing out person, I think that's what they think of me. Also, most of the times i'm happy, energetic, friendly in a way. I think this stereotype of me is accurate because that's who I am, I act like myself. However, for other people, even if they act this way, it doesn't mean that they are who they show to be. For example, Young Kyu maybe a short, buff, quiet, unactive person however, yes, he is short but he's not quiet when he's with his close friends. Also, he loves baskeball and X-country, which makes him an active person.

I think stereotype is bad, because there are always chances that the person who you think he/she is, might not be that person. Also, it's not a bad thing to get to know the person and really know who he/she is. You can make assumptions, however, I do not think you should change those actions based on those assumptions, which is why I think stereotype can't be beneficial, but always not harmful.
