Mass Media: Theatre by Lucky

Theatre is a mass media that is always performed lived and therefore often times it is more influencing and persuading. Theatre has been one of the longest forms of media, since it began in the greek civilization. There are many different ways to perform Theatre and according to Peter Brook, a theatre practitioner, stated that theatre had no limits in style of presenting. There are so many creative ways that persuade the audience in a different way. Through many years, a hand full of artists tried to find the true purpose of theatre. out of many possibilities Peter Brook once again stated that theatre is "a magnifying glass, a search light or a place of confrontation." In another words a place of renewal of life. Theatre is a play that people find to get new inspirations into their life. Planning to watch theatre can look simple. Buying the ticket, sitting in the assigned seat and just watching. However, unlike TV theatre values extreme amount of theories, symbols and meanings. Often times they are hidden like the parables and to find that the audience will have to be engaged and focused. As it is a very strong media, it should be directed and rehearsed carefully in order to secure the meaning and the purpose.
